Welcome to the Grand Massif!
The Grand Massif offers a tremendous amount year round outside the traditional ski season.
For walkers there is a network of waymarked paths of differing severity linking the valleys of the Arve and the Giffre and the villages of Les Carroz, Morillon & Samoens. We are on the doorstep of Nature Reserves at Passy and Sixt.

The chalet also makes a perfect base for cyclists. For the off-road fraternity there are extensive waymarked VTT itineraries incorporating the summer lift network and a dedicated downhill track in Les Carroz. Road cyclists will thrill to the challenge of Alpine passes and the chalet makes an excellent base for following the mountain sections of the Tour de France and other international events. In both cases riders will appreciate the generous double garage with full power and workbench facilities. |
Working with the Bureau des Guides in Les Carroz we can tailor make an adventurous package including white-water rafting, canyoning, pot-holing, via-ferrata, or you can take to the skies in a hot air balloon or 2-man parapente. |

We can also advise you on the wide range of attractions in the region with Chamonix, Geneva and Annecy all within an hour’s drive from the chalet. |
Following our successful first Residential Cookery course ‘French cuisine Hervé’s Way’ we are running a repeat Level I Course and a Level II course in Spring 2012.
