Beautiful setting and a very pretty villiage, which is within walking distance although the walk back will increase your heart-rate! Market is well worth a visit if you like food. Vanessa & Chris are very accomodating - even went to the trouble of dropping us off at the restaurant on their night off. The chalet was very clean and luxurious and every meal was well executed and tasty. It was definitely home from home - even down to the slippers & dressing gown! Thoroughly recommend skiing for half a day before the return flight home if you have time. Can't wait to get back! - DouggieC, Isle of Man
"The Place to Stay in Les Carroz"
This is the second year I have stayed in Chalet Plein Air and you are assured of a very warm welcome by Chris and Vanessa. From the minute they greet you at their door, they are the most pleasant, helpful and friendly hosts I have ever met. The service they provide is first-class - excellent cuisine, wonderful accommodation and great knowledge of the local ski area & restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable and chilled. You are made to feel special and included. The double rooms are spacious & attractively decorated & the bathrooms are spotless. Gorgeous fluffy white towels, slippers, dressing gowns and a basket of goodies add to the pamper you need at the end of a day on the slopes. You can also unwind and relax in the sauna - cosy and intimate but perfectly adequate. The chalet is situated above Les Carroz but within easy reach of the town and the slopes. We didn't go into the town at all - it is so relaxing in the chalet, our group felt no need at all to venture outside away from the fireside. One of the best things is the food - absolutely superb and Chris' menus just get better and better! The presentation, attention to detail and portion size are just right and the breakfasts too, were excellent - especially the pancakes! Chris and Vanessa join you for supper and mix all the guests up, which is a great way to chat and meet new people. All the food was imaginative, varied and simply delicious!

We have stayed with Chris and Vanessa 3 times and I have just booked our next visit. If you like to be well fed in a wonderful setting then this is the place for you. Be spoilt and have a go. To sum the place up - MARVELLOUS!
